The Futures Associate role has given me the opportunity to gain actionable job experience across a variety of fields and build a tremendous foundation for growth. By working in different roles, networking with senior leadership and operating on different teams, I have become a much more well-rounded team member. This experience has enhanced my focus on improvement and developed my dynamic thought process.

It has given me an open mindset towards the business field, showing me that there are multiple routes to the top. Everyone faces roadblocks and difficulties in any role, but overcoming these challenges requires a dynamic thought process and a willingness to learn and grow from your mistakes.
Are there any moments or projects that have had a significant impact on your professional development?
Yes, there have been three specific moments that have had a significant impact on my professional development. The first was during my initial rotation, when I had the opportunity to lead my own team and “create” my own role with meaningful impact. The second was during my third rotation, where I pitched stocks to portfolio managers and learned the ins and outs of the PM role and its responsibilities. The third is in my current role, where I interact with a variety of professionals, both within and outside of Franklin Templeton, and learn how to better facilitate their growth. This, in turn, provides me with opportunities for personal growth.
Who would you recommend joining the Futures Program?
Aspiring business professionals who are ambitious but not necessarily sure in what direction. This role is all about exploration. Any candidate who wants an amazing opportunity to create their own path is the type of candidate that would be perfect for this role.
