Culture

Continuous Improvement

What makes Franklin Templeton unique?

We’ve built a uniquely collaborative culture that allows us to ask fresh questions in a safe environment and harness our best thinking.

By working together we link our expertise, gain deeper insights and make better informed decisions. This allows us to continuously evolve and deliver better client outcomes.

Watch and see how we do things differently.

Diversity & Inclusion

Our respect for individuals bringing their whole selves to the workplace guides how we communicate, work and learn together. It inspires innovation and lets us pursue common goals that support the success of our company.

We are cultivating a culture where people know they belong, feel heard and know that their contributions matter. Learn more.

Innovation

Unlocking innovation in “sprints”

Hackathons at Franklin Templeton—hands-on events involving teams from various locations and business units—create a fun and inspiring environment where individuals collaborate to design solutions to challenges in a short amount of time.

During a recent event, hackers from Dublin, California and Hyderabad, India participated in a fun, festive, non-work environment for 48 hours. Cool music, games, a relaxation room, late night pizza, energy drinks, balloon animals and sunrise yoga were some of the amenities that helped teams pitch experimental, sometimes unconventional, ideas in a creative environment.

Collaboration

We Get Involved in Local Volunteer Activities

Our global employee volunteer program, Involved, is a fun and convenient way to share your time and talent - while addressing critical needs in our local communities.

Involved events connect our employees with co-workers and community members. Volunteer project leaders suggest events and tap into the enthusiasm and energy of our global workforce to make a difference throughout the year.

Annually we host "Impact Days," which unites employees around the world in a month of community service.

Paid Time Off to Volunteer

To support your commitment to service, we offer employees one paid day per year to volunteer in the community, either through Involved or to fulfill a personal volunteer interest.

You Give, We Give

Our employees generously give their time and talents to their favorite charitable organizations and we match donations of financial support and reward volunteering hours with additional charitable donations.

Recent Events

During our global month of service, we served the communities where we live and work. Partnering with local organizations, our team volunteered their time and talents to help 82charity partners and 133 service projects across 25 offices worldwide.
