What would you tell someone considering a career at FT?

I joined FT right after graduating college. Eight years have gone by and I am still here. And why? Compassion, motivation and challenge are three words which describes FT as a workplace for me. I have felt valued and motivated, been challenged, and felt fulfilled when goals were achieved.

What do you enjoy about being part of a global company?

For me working in a global company has increased exposure to multiple areas of the business. I started my career as a Fund Accountant, then took up the role of Process Trainer for Fund Accounting, and now am working as a Program Consultant in another division. FT has enabled me to invest in myself through expanding my knowledge across business lines.

What makes FT unique?

Work-life balance is one of the things I really value and find very unique about FT. In 2017 when I was back from my maternity leave I was worried how I would manage my work and my baby. But the support of management and flexible working hours were really helpful in managing both my work and daughter. I was able to develop my skills and accept new challenges beyond my comfort zone, and that is when I started a new position in 2019.
