Why did you join FT?

I joined Franklin Templeton straight out of university because I had many career interests and was attracted to a large, global company that offered a diverse set of potential opportunities. I have been fortunate to gain experience in multiple areas from investment research to marketing, and to have the company’s support in furthering my studies through the Tuition Assistance Program.

What makes FT unique?

I find that Franklin Templeton’s commitment to the wellbeing of its employees is unique in the industry. The company recognizes that its talented employee base is one of its key assets and makes genuine efforts to support employees personally and professionally. The company also fosters an environment of respect and collegiality in which employees are comfortable bringing their whole selves to work.

How do you connect with co-workers in different offices?

Franklin Templeton is a truly global organization. Collaboration with colleagues across different offices, countries and cultures is a daily reality for most employees. In fact, the connections I made with colleagues in Australia while working at FT’s headquarters in the U.S. ultimately helped me transfer to one of our offices in Australia. While opportunities to work abroad are constrained by the needs of the business in each country, I’ve found that in many cases they are available to employees who demonstrate a commitment to the business and a global mindset.
