At Franklin Templeton, we embrace individual differences and the wealth of perspectives brought by global diversity. We know our diversity helps us deliver excellent investment results and client service. We foster a culture of inclusion and diversity because we value the talent and ideas provided by your unique experience.
Our respect for individuals bringing their whole selves to the workplace guides how we communicate, work and learn together. It inspires innovation and enables us to pursue common goals that support the success of our company.
We actively educate our leaders in managing in an inclusive way. Senior leaders from our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Executive Council serve as champions sponsoring diversity initiatives and advising on policy. Our dedicated D&I intranet site provides employees information on promoting an inclusive culture, exploring unconscious bias, tips on how to be a D&I champion and a wide variety of learning resources. Employee resource groups help employees connect, discuss and educate.
As an organization we participate in various industry surveys to understand where we stand and how we can continue to strengthen our commitment. Recent participation includes the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (US), Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, Financial Times Women in Asset Management, Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (UK).
On July 25, 2017, Greg Johnson signed the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion pledge, joining a group of over 270 U.S. business leaders working toward elevating the discussions about D&I and creating a more inclusive workplace. Learn more.
